As the UK’s biggest battery and lighting distributor, Supreme Imports has reached incredible heights. It not only sells brands, but manufacturers its own, as well as making a claim on the vaping market. It is also one of the fastest-growing companies in Europe.
The client wanted a website to reflect this level of ambition, take on a more modern aesthetic and provide incisive showcases for the businesses they partner with.

Approach
Right away, we saw that everything had to be simpler. There was too much content. Graphics and spacing were clunky here and there. Small changes could make an enormous difference to the look and texture of the company.
So, we worked closely with Supreme Imports’ team, landing on far more contemporary graphics together. Often it was a case of realignment – both with existing graphics, and those we were swapping out. Every step of the way, we paid special attention to logos and branding for their clientele, making sure it all clicked visually.
Colour was another key element. Supreme Imports, it’s fair to say, has a vibrant palette: the colour spectrum literally overscores their name. Therefore we spread many shades across the website, paying tribute to the client’s diverse history while keeping it professional, never too dense or distracting.
Result
The site looks amazing. You’re welcomed by a slick homepage video, then a quirky dissection of Supreme Imports’ industries (lighting, vaping, nutrition etc.). Animated stats tot up the client’s successes. You instantly feel like this company has done a lot in its lifetime and continues to hit new watermarks.
More videos introduce standout brands – including Supreme Imports’ 88vape – on a Products listing. Users can flip easily between shopping the full range, reading company news, or learning more about innovation at the VN Labs. It is exactly what the client needed: quick navigation with a sense of scale.
